The film tells about the life of the revolutionary poet Abd Araheem Mahmoud, since his birth and until he martyred in Al-Shajara battle, near Nazareth in 1948, through interviews with friends and people he knew, in addition to sections of dramatic recreations of important parts of his short life. The film includes archival photos and copies of the poems in his handwriting, and readings of his most significant writings, amongst them his famous poem "I will carry my soul". It also features the Poet's critical writings and poems in the context of public discourse during that period.
The film is produced by Al-Arz production in Nazareth, and directed by Thaer Zoubi, Music by Karim Mattar   Producer Nizar Younes.
