Based on our own reality, the play's significance lies precisely in that it shocks and exposes our morose times, revealing many concealed issues in our society. It is a text that smacks us violently so we would awaken from our coma, in order to face reality in its controversy, provocation and sycophancy.The writer establishes in his text two neighboring families, an Arab and a Jewish family, and their coalescent and contradictory worlds. It tells about their daily life, until it reaches the peak point that spreads the text wide open, at a moment a Palestinian child is killed in a car accident. the accident unveils various subsided concerns, which we almost forgot about while trying to live with them, when in fact, once we remove the dusty layer,  they are issues that disturb our peace and worry us, shaking the basis of our living in a disguised coexistence. They are all matters repressed in our subconscious unable to remain hidden; with every time something happens it flows back on the surface placing us before embarrassing confrontations.
