Tells the biography of the Palestinian poet Fadwa Touqan, who had suffered much among her family as a result of a love affair. Fadwa Toukan's “rescuer” was her brother the poet Ibrahim Touqan, who constantly supported her until she became one of the most important poets in the Arab world.
The film combines interviews with poets, friends of the poet and recreated dramatic scenes that demonstrate for the viewer the poet's childhood and her struggle for the Palestinian cause.
The film features many droll stories and sections of her poems, some of which are displayed in the poet's voice.
